History: She and her parents where hunting deer in the late spring time a year before moving to forks. While on their hunt they ran across hunters, who in a panic shot at them. her mothers knee was hit from behind, her father turned around and charged the hunters to give her and her mother time to escape, unfortunately he didn't. Thus stirring up commotion in the town, Runns mother then had them move to forks knowing that there was a wolf pack there that she was acquainted with many years back.
